I am Teain. Currently, I serve as the head of the IT team and system architect at a tea e-commerce company.

Over 20 years in the IT industry, my world revolved around code, systems, and infrastructure—tea was little more than a casual drink. But in 2022, a serendipitous move to a leading tea e-commerce company opened a door to a whole new realm. Here, I’ve tasted, explored, and fallen for tea in all its forms: its diversity astounds me, its calm nourishes both my mind and body, and it’s reshaped how I live. Whether hosting guests at home or camping under the stars, a pot of fragrant tea has become my ritual to unwind, turning chaos into quiet.

I especially love this wonderful feeling and really want to share this pleasant mood with everyone. So, I turn my attention to the field of cross-border e-commerce, especially cross-border tea e-commerce.

When I had this idea, I was constantly thinking about what exactly I could bring to everyone.

This ability to translate coding thinking into selecting, crafting, and sharing tea is perhaps the unique sense of reassurance and delight I can bring to everyone.

Secondly, being in a tea e-commerce company, I have gained an in-depth understanding of the tea industry. I clearly know the characteristics, origins, qualities, and market demands of various types of tea. Therefore, when selecting tea products for cross-border sales, I can accurately grasp market trends and provide the best and most distinctive tea for global consumers. Whether it is mellow black tea, fresh green tea, or fragrant scented tea, I can carefully select them according to the taste preferences of consumers in different regions.

From the tea garden to the consumer's cup, I can strictly control every link to ensure the freshness and quality of tea.

Finally, I am fully aware of the huge potential of cross-border e-commerce. I am not afraid of challenging traditions but actively explore new business models and market opportunities. Whiteteain.com is an e-commerce website that I specifically established for Chinese white tea so that everyone can select Chinese white tea. I will also establish tea websites for oolong tea, black tea, Pu'er tea, etc. to meet the needs of different tea lovers.

In the world of tea, I'm still a new apprentice. But this "newness" makes me all the more eager to connect genuinely with every tea lover. From designing and building this independent website, line by line of code, to capturing the perfect light in each tea photo and carefully crafting every word – it's all been a solo journey of exploration and hands-on creation.
