2020 Golden Peak Mountain White Peony Supreme from Guanyang

This White Peony Supreme was harvested in 2020 from tea gardens on Golden Peak Mountain, part of the Guanyang area – the largest high-altitude ecological tea garden base in Fuding and an important water-source protection zone. The high, mist-shrouded terrain shapes a tea with a notably fragrant, mineral-edged character.

Origin and Growing Conditions

• Golden Peak Mountain, Guanyang – over 900 m altitude, frequently cloud-covered, with gravelly soil rich in minerals and high forest coverage.
• White Peony Supreme grade – a selection above standard White Peony, with well-formed buds and leaves.
• 2020 vintage – settled by several years of storage, balancing fresh florals with aged depth.

Tasting Notes

The liquor is bright and golden with a clean, high-mountain aroma. On the palate, floral and fresh vegetal notes give way to a smooth, mineral finish. The tea keeps its character across multiple infusions and drinks best when brewed with a little care.

Brewing Recommendation

Use 5 g per 150 ml of water at 90–95°C. Rinse quickly, then brew in 20–30 second infusions to follow the aroma's development. Available as 250 g packs; with each 250 g pack we include a complimentary 50 g tin of the same tea.
